This report provides a market assessment of the energy efficiency of electric induction motors, rated between 0.12 kW and 1 000 kW. The scope includes motors designed to operate on either three or single-phases in electricity networks at frequencies of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, and are responsible for approximately 80% of all the electrical energy used by motors.
