The 4E PECTA Experts Workshop took place at the Austrian Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure (BMIMI) in Vienna in February 2026, where international experts from research, industry, and policy discussed the latest advances in wide bandgap power electronics, including application readiness, reliability, circular economy approaches, and cooperation with the European Commission.

PECTA proudly served as an institutional partner at the highly anticipated EPE 2023 Conference. This prestigious collaboration highlighted PECTA’s commitment to advancing technological innovation and fostering knowledge exchange on a global scale.
A new PECTA paper has been published. This paper focuses on the effects of incorporating GaN components for energy conversion on the product design and the resulting environmental impacts along the life cycle, in particular for the case of consumer chargers for electronic devices such as notebooks and mobile phones.
PECTA is the official institutional partner of the EPE conference 2023. There will be several PECTA sessions from September 5th – 7th, 2023, presenting all PECTA’s research and policy making work.
