Published by the Joint Research Centre (JRC), the latest EU Energy Efficiency Status Report for 2012 draws on information from 4E’s Mapping & Benchmarking Annex amongst other sources to show the present status of energy consumption in the residential and tertiary sectors in the EU-27. The Report has a special focus on the electricity consumption of household appliances and equipment, demonstrated energy efficiency progress and further saving potential in the EU-27.  The report summarises the most recent policy actions introduced at EU level and also outlines some of the important national policies regarding energy efficiency and energy consumption.
