The benchmarking report discussing the international comparison of the energy performance of dishwashers in nine countries/regions is now available.
This benchmarking report examines:
- Variations in the scope and stringency of national minimum performance levels required for dishwashers, and a summary of additional national policies seeking to promote dishwasher efficiency;
- Key differences in product performance between countries over the 1996-2012 period resulting from policies announced and implementation to date;
- Areas of potential concern, including areas where additional or modified policy intervention may be desirable in the future to improve product energy performance;
- The potential energy savings that are currently possible, and may be possible in the future if aggressive policy intervention is undertaken.
