Indicative of the growing importance of LED lighting to policy-makers, Canada is the latest country to join the IEA 4E SSL Annex, along with Australia, Denmark, France, the Republic of Korea, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The SSL Annex recently commenced a second interlaboratory comparison programme (IC 2017), building on the hightly successful 2013 interlaboratory comparison in which over 100 laboratories around the world participated.
