Meetings Guide & Registration

Conference Locations

Meetings on 26-28 March will be held at the China National Institute of Standardization - No. 4 Zhichun Road, Haidian, 100191, Beijing, China.  Website: www.cnis.gov.cn

The venue for the workshops on 29 March is yet to be finalised and will be advised as soon as possible.

 

Hotel Bookings

Delegates are responsible for making their own hotel bookings. However the following hotels have been recommended and can be booked at www.booking.com

Travel Information & Visa Requirements

Beijing Capital International Airport is approximately 33km from the meeting venue.

By taxi: Taxi service from the airport to the meeting place (CNIS) may cost around 110 RMB per trip (around 45 minutes) in non rush hour. The price of a registered taxi should be metered. It is not recommended to take a non-registered taxi.

By subway: CNIS is near Exit D of Xitucheng station on subway line 10. It is a 5 minute walk from Xitucheng station to the meeting venue.  More information about Beijing subway can be found on https://www.bjsubway.com/en/

It is advised to depart early especially during the rush hours (7:00-9:00 and 17:00-19:00).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING VISA REQUIREMENTS

Most delegates will need visas to enter the country.  For the visa application, you can contact us if you need an invitation letter from China National Institute of Standardization (CNIS).  Each participant that needs an invitation letter must send the visa information form (click here to download the form) and a copy of the information page of your passport to the contact person of the host before January 20, 2019.
