Ecodesign Directive for Energy-using Products


The European Ecodesign Directive for Energy-using Products (EuP) is proposing Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for electric motors.

The European Ecodesign Directive for Energy-using Products (EuP) is proposing Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for electric motors.

 

The current proposal defines two levels:

  • IE2 in 2012
  • IE3 in 2015

 

The EuP Consultation Forum on Lot 11 on motors discussed these proposals on 27 May 2008 in Brussels.
